Jazz Band

The DHS Wildcat Jazz Band meets during the school day (7th period). This ensemble has a concert schedule unique to the ensemble which may include performances as part of fundraisers, school gala events, and community concerts. The Jazz Bands main yearly concert is the Jazz Dinner and Dance put on in the Spring Semester as a fundraiser for the Wildcat Band Program.

Jazz Band is open to any student who plays a traditional jazz band instrument and may participate as an extension of the Concert/Marching Band experience. Enrollment in the Concert/Marching Bands is required to participate in the Jazz Band but certain exceptions are granted
