Colorguard

The Colorguard Visual Ensemble is the dance and visual portion of the Wildcat Band Program. Members will study contemporary, ballet, and jazz styles of dance while also learning to manipulate traditional Color Guard equipment. Colorguard members are not required to play an instrument though prior musical or dance experience will be helpful.

During the Spring Semesters the Colorguard performs as an independent ensemble known as a Winter Guard where they will learn and perform a 3-5 minute piece used at competitions, assemblies and even basketball games.
